I highly recommend Seascapes boat tours, travelling with an autistic child can be nerve wracking but from the start Mitch communicated via WhatsApp and explained everything so we could prepare our son, and on board itself was just as inclusive!! Partnered with a local chef we enjoyed a great tapas, the chef even managed to get our sons Chicago town pizza so he didn't miss out!! Clean comfortable and at home was our experience of a lovely 2 hour trip of Papagayo beaches. The kids and hubby loved the snorkelling!!! Thanks Mitch , we will be back next year! March 2025 Fashion Photo Shoot
Recently, Nerina had the pleasure of cooking for the Cologne based fashion brand “Lanius”, a mother and daughter team, along with their team & photographer, Linda Hu Hafeneger. Their visit to the island wasn’t just for leisure, as they had planned photoshoots around Tegoyo & the Rofera de Teseguite (dubbed “Stratified City” for its interesting rock formations.) Before sending them on their way around the island, Nerina prepared delicious, packed lunches for the team to enjoy in between shoots. Outside of the shoots the team were treated to a Mexican themed dinner & a tapas evening with Mojito cocktails to match.

I’ve spent more than 25 years cooking professionally, from luxury estates in the UK to sailing boats in the Mediterranean and beyond. Food has taken me around the world, but my heart—and my kitchen—are firmly in Lanzarote, where I live with my Husband Matt (who swears he married me for my cooking!) and our two spoilt cats.

My love of food runs in the family: my grandfather was a chef in the army, cooking across India and Africa, and my mother carried on that passion, passing it down to me. Although I didn’t take it up professionally until my twenties, once I did, it became my life.
​
Over the years, I’ve cooked for, gentry, corporate clients, oil rig crews, yacht owners, wedding parties in muddy fields, and even alongside Gurkha wives while their Husbands were on manoeuvres—a time I’ll never forget. Each experience has shaped not just my cooking, but the way I connect with people through food!
​
At the heart of it all is my love for Mediterranean & Canarian flavours: vibrant, honest, and full of sunshine—just like Lanzarote.
